Effective Thoughts

Following up on my participation in the Safelite Triathlon to benefit MaAfrika Tikkun , I indeed finished and more importantly, raised $1000. Thank you again for your generous contributions! Regards to the Safelite folks who organized a safe, fun and entertaining event. Held in Las Vegas, I typically think of one (or two) things: gambling. However, out by Lake Mead is gorgeous. The event utilized the lake, trails and some serious up-and-down hills through rocky terrain to deliver a challenging run, swim and bike.

In April, I'll be competing in the Safelite Charity Triathlon benefiting MaAfrika Tikkun , a charity charged with reducing hunger and improving health care for children in South Africa. Folks typically aren't clicking on Google Ad links when traveling to my blog. That's ok. It's not a revenue experiment. As a result, there's not much (if any) revenue generated on Effective Thoughts. My other blog, generates a bit more...but not much more. Regardless, I convinced my blog partner to participate in the Blogger Holiday Charity Challenge and donate our entire ad revenue for 2008 to charity .
